HOW CARLO WORKS
From task list to a forecast you can stand behind.
Five steps, from your first estimates to a project you can close with the records intact.
- 01
Add your tasks and estimates.
Enter a best, likely and worst case for each task's time and cost — or paste from a spreadsheet, import a CSV, or review an AI-drafted plan. Add dependencies and a start date to get real calendar dates.
- 02
Run the forecast.
Carlo simulates the project 10,000 times and shows your P50, P80 and P95 finish dates and costs, the chance of hitting a target, and the contingency to add.
- 03
Find what drives it.
Sensitivity analysis and the critical path show which tasks and risks move the result. Save scenarios and compare them side by side before you commit.
- 04
Keep it current.
Record progress and actual cost, log change requests, and apply reviewed meeting actions. Re-run the forecast whenever the plan changes.
- 05
Report and close.
Export a status report, charter, registers and close-out checklist. Download the whole project as a ZIP or re-importable JSON.
